3-2 Timing/Coasting Clutch Solenoid (3-2T/CCS) Description: Description

The 3-2T/CCS is a variable force solenoid. This type of solenoid is an electro-hydraulic actuator combining a solenoid and a regulating valve.
It supplies pressure to the S3 circuit to control the release of the direct clutch during a 3-2 downshift. This solenoid also regulates the pressure in the S3 circuit to control the application and release of the coasting clutch.
