Transaxle Tester Instruction: Notes

The transaxle tester allows a technician to operate the electrical portion of the transaxle independent of the vehicle electronics to determine specific transaxle concerns. Use of the transaxle tester is divided into five steps.
- Preliminary testing and diagnosis.
- Installing the transaxle tester.
- Static testing-engine OFF.
- Dynamic testing-engine running.
- Removing the transaxle tester and clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
