Differential Assembly: Installation

CAUTION:
Ensure machined surfaces on rear axle housing, differential housing cover and rotary blade coupling housing are clean and free of oil before installing new silicone sealant. Inside of rear axle must be covered when cleaning machined surface to prevent contamination.
NOTE:
Differential housing cover must be installed within 15 minutes of application of silicone, or new sealant must be applied. If possible, allow one hour before filling with lubricant to make sure silicone sealant has correctly cured. Apply a new continuous bead of clear silicone rubber.
To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten nuts and bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
