Output Gear Bearing Preload

Install the output gear component into the transaxle case. See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY .
Set the SST on the output gear component as shown in the figure.

Verify that the preload scale reading is within the specification.
- If not as specified, replace the output gear.
Preload

0.63-1.30 N.m {6.4-13.3 kgf.cm, 5.6-11.5 in.lbf}
Remove the SST and the output gear component.
