Secondary Shutter Valve (SSV) Solenoid Valve Inspection: Notes

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the SSV solenoid valve. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Inspect for airflow using the steps in the figures. See Fig 1 .
- If it is normal, inspect related wiring harnesses.
- If there is any malfunction, replace the SSV solenoid valve.
