WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2001 Mazda Tribute. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
Verify customer concern by operating system. Observe indicators, warning displays and gauges to determine if they are operating correctly. Inspect for damaged fuel tank, parking brake switch, loose or damaged accessory drive belt. Inspect for low brake fluid, engine oil, or coolant levels. Inspect for blown fuse(s), damaged wiring, loose or corroded connectors. If fault is found, repair as necessary. If no fault is found, perform self-diagnostics. See SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM .
