Hood Removal/Installation

WARNING:

Removing the hood without supporting it can be dangerous. The hood may fall and injure you. Always perform the following procedure together with at least another person.

Disconnect the windshield washer hose.
To remove the hood hinge, remove the front fender panel. (See FRONT FENDER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)

Remove in the order indicated in the table.

REMOVAL ORDER OF HOOD

1	Hood insulator
2	Shroud seal weatherstrip
3	Parting seal weatherstrip
4	Hood
5	Hood hinge
6	Hood stay

Install in the reverse order of removal.
Adjust the hood. (See HOOD ADJUSTMENT .)
