Windshield Wiper Motor Inspection

- Disconnect the windshield wiper motor connector.
- Connect battery positive voltage to terminal E or D and ground to terminal B, and inspect operation of the windshield wiper motor as indicated in Fig 1.
- Disconnect battery positive voltage from terminal E of the motor while the wipers are operating.
- Verify that the wipers do not stop in the park position.
- Short between the motor terminals A and D and connect battery positive voltage to the motor terminal C.
- Verify that the wipers operate at low speed again, then stop in the park position.
- If not as specified, replace the windshield wiper motor.
