Gearshift Lever: MPV

Move gearshift lever to Park. Remove steering column covers. Loosen nut on gearshift selector lever. Pull gearshift lever rearward to "R" position, to side gate of "P" position. Tighten nut on gearshift selector lever to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Verify gearshift selector lever nut is exposed from nut at appropriate distance. See Fig 1. Install steering column covers.
