Oil Pan: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Drain engine oil. Remove front pipe. See EXHAUST MANIFOLD . Remove end plate cover.
  2. Remove transaxle housing bolts from oil pan. Loosen oil pan bolts and studs in sequence, in several passes. See Fig 1.
