Removal & Installation

- Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING SYSTEM under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
- Remove engine fuse box. Disconnect positive battery cable. Remove battery clamp, bolts, battery box and tray. Remove engine fresh air duct. Remove screw, disconnect electrical connector and remove front crash sensor. See Fig 1 .
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Activate air bag system. See ACTIVATING SYSTEM under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
