Possible Causes

No SAS control module configuration or SAS control module malfunction.

  1. Inspect SAS control module

    Using scan tool, perform SAS control module configuration. See SAS CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Retrieve Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). See RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)  under DIAGNOSTICS. If DTC B1921 is retrieved and performing present malfunction diagnosis, replace SAS control module. If DTC B1921 is not retrieved, test is complete.
