Wheel Studs Removal/Installation: Notes

CAUTION: Never use a hammer to remove the lug bolt. Damage to the axle flange, hub flange, wheel bearing or hub bearing can result.

Raise the vehicle and install safety stands.
Remove the wheel and tire assembly.
Remove the rear brake drum.
Using C-Frame and clamp assembly or equivalent, press the lug bolt from its seat and discard.
