Vehicles with ABS

Remove the bolt and position the anti-lock brake sensor aside.

Separate the lower ball joint from the wheel knuckle. Remove the pinch bolt. Separate the lower ball joint from the wheel knuckle.

Using the special tool, separate the halfshaft from the wheel knuckle. Position the halfshaft aside and support.

Remove the wheel knuckle. Remove the strut-to-wheel knuckle bolts. Remove the wheel knuckle.

Using the special tool, press the wheel hub from the wheel bearing and knuckle.

NOTE: This step may not be necessary if the inner wheel bearing race remains in the wheel knuckle, after removing the wheel hub.
Using the special tool, press the inner wheel bearing race from the wheel hub.

Remove the snap ring.

Using the special tools, press the outer wheel bearing race from the wheel knuckle.

NOTE: The brake disc shield is pressed on.
If necessary, remove the brake disc shield.
