- Check PCV system for restrictions.
- Check bypass air control valve or IAC valve for malfunction.
- Check connections at mass airflow sensor or throttle body.
- Check operation of lock-up torque converter.
- Check coolant temperature sensor resistance.
- Ensure fuel system pressure is correct.
- ECM/PCM malfunction.
- Check throttle bore for dirt and carbon.
