Intermediate Shaft: Reassembly

Reassemble, as shown in the illustration. See Fig 1 .

Bearing Assembly Note  - Install the new bearing using the Attachment (49-L025-002), assemble and press as shown in the illustration. See Fig 2 .

Dust Seal (Left) Assembly Note  - Apply grease to the new dust seal lip. Install the new left side dust seal using a steel plate and the Attachment (49-F027-009), as shown in the illustration. See Fig 3 .

Intermediate Shaft Assembly Note  - Assemble the intermediate shaft using a press, the left dust seal and the attachment Body B (49-B018-003), as shown in the illustration. See Fig 4 .

Dust Seal (Right) Assembly Note  - Apply grease to the new dust seal lip. Install the new right side dust seal using both left and right dust seals, the intermediate shaft, Handle (49-G030-797) and the Oil Seal Installer (49-U027-003), as shown in the illustration. See Fig 5 .
