Intermediate Shaft: Disassembly

Disassemble in the order indicated in the illustration. See Fig 1 .

Intermediate Shaft Disassembly Note - Disassemble the intermediate shaft using the V-Block and Dust Seal assembly, as shown in the illustration. See Fig 2 .

CAUTION: Support the inner race of the bearing. If not possible, do not reuse it.

Bearing Disassembly Note - Remove the bearing using the Handle (49-G030-797), Bearing Installer (44-H025-001), and Support Block (49-G026-103), as shown in the illustration. See Fig 3 .

CAUTION: Do not damage the rubber part of the dust cover.
