Removal (B2300, B3000 & B4000)

Disconnect negative battery cable. Release fuel system pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE . Remove fuel tank. Clean area around fuel pump mounting flange. Turn fuel pump sending unit lock ring counterclockwise using Fuel Sender Wrench (310-069). See Fig 1. Remove lock ring. Remove fuel pump and sending unit assembly. Remove fuel pump from assembly.
