Engine Mechanical - 3.0L: Piston: Disassembly

Remove the top compression ring.

Remove the second compression ring.

Remove the first oil control ring.

Remove the oil control spacer ring.

Remove the second oil control ring.

Remove the clips.

Remove the piston pin and the connecting rod from the piston.

Clean and inspect the connecting rod and the piston. Refer to PISTON - INSPECTION .
