Removal & Installation

Raise and support the vehicle.
Remove the RH catalyst monitor sensor. Refer to the following:
- For 2001 models, see HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR .
- For 2002 models, see HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR .
- For 2003 models, see HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR .
Remove and discard the two nuts and separate the flexible Y-pipe from the manifold.

Remove and discard the nuts.
- Discard the gasket.

Remove the nuts.
- Discard the gasket.

Remove the flexible pipe.
- Disconnect from the hanger.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Install a new gasket.
- Install new nuts.
