Brake Fluid Reservoir: Installation

NOTE: Whenever installing a new brake master cylinder reservoir, install new seals.
NOTE: Numbers in parenthesis refer to numbers in illustration.
  1. Lubricate the two seals with clean brake fluid and insert the seals into the brake master cylinder (1). See Fig 1 .
  2. Press the brake master cylinder reservoir into the seals until it snaps in securely (2).
  3. Connect the brake master cylinder fluid level warning switch electrical connector (3).

If equipped with manual transaxle, connect the clutch master cylinder feed. See Figure . Bleed the clutch master cylinder. See BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER  . Bleed the master cylinder. See BRAKE SYSTEM PRESSURE BLEEDING  .
