Inspection and Verification
- Verify the customer concern by operating the trailer tow lights.
- Verify the exterior lighting system of the vehicle is operating correctly. If not, refer to the appropriate pinpoint test in this section.
- Visually inspect for obvious signs of electrical damage.
- If the fault is not visually evident, determine the symptom and proceed to TROUBLESHOOTING INDEX - TRAILER LAMPS .
