Removal & Installation
- Remove the Brake Pedal Position (BPP) switch. See BRAKE PEDAL POSITION SWITCH
.
- If equipped, remove the cruise control deactivator switch. See SPEED CONTROL DEACTIVATOR SWITCH
.
- Disconnect the push rod from the brake pedal pin. See Fig 1
. Remove the cotter pin and bushing.
- Remove the brake pedal and bracket. Remove the nuts. See Fig 2
.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure. Tighten all fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
