Fuel Gauge Test
- Remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Connect battery positive voltage to terminal 2G (Black/Yellow wire) and ground terminal 2I (Brown/Red wire) at instrument cluster. See Fig 1 . Connect Red wire of Checker (49-N088-0A0) to terminal 2N (Green/Yellow wire) of instrument cluster. Connect checker Black wire to ground.
- Set checker to specified resistance value. Allow one minute for needle to stabilize. See FUEL GAUGE RESISTANCE table. If fuel gauge needle does not rest at specified position for each resistance value setting, replace fuel gauge.
