Front Brake Rotor: Installation
Do not reuse hub locks if cracked or broken. It may be necessary to turn wheel hub to align hub lock splines. To aid in hub lock installation, hub lock should be in engaged position while aligning it to axle shaft, hub and bearing. Position hub lock onto wheel hub using hand pressure. Use a rubber mallet to install hub lock. Inspect all hub lock locking arms to ensure they are fully seated in hub groove. See Fig 1 . Perform wheel-end vacuum test. Remove vacuum hose, install hand vacuum pump and apply 15" Hg. Vacuum should not drop more than 0.5" Hg in 30 seconds.
