System Operation Check

NOTE: Before proceeding with any procedures, follow all service precautions. See AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .

Turn ignition on. AIR BAG warning light in instrument cluster should illuminate for 6 seconds and then turn off. If AIR BAG warning light does not function as described, system is malfunctioning. See DIAGNOSTICS .
