DTC 17: Operation Signal To Rear Window Defroster Indicator Light

Wait for 2 seconds after selecting DTC 17. If rear window defroster light turns on and off 3 times, rear window defroster light is okay. If rear window defroster light does not turn on and off 3 times, check rear window defroster light bulb in instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If bulb is okay, replace instrument cluster.
