Preliminary Inspection
- Verify customer's complaint by operating system in question. Visually inspect components. Check, repair, or replace the following components as necessary:
- Damaged engine oil pump and oil filter.
- Damaged coolant thermostat.
- Door adjustment.
- Low engine coolant or engine oil.
- Stuck coolant temperature gauge needle.
- Stuck oil pressure gauge needle.
- Tripped inertia switch.
- Blown fuse(s).
- Damaged instrument cluster or bulbs.
- Damaged wiring harness, or loose or corroded connections.
- Verify charging system, cooling system, fuel system, safety belt warning chime, turn signals, headlights, and anti-theft control system are working properly. Inspect wiring harness for bad connections or damage.
