Fuel Gauge Sending Unit Test
WARNING:
Relieve fuel pressure before servicing fuel system.
- Remove fuel gauge sending unit. Connect ohmmeter between the following wire terminals of fuel gauge sending unit connector.
- Green/Yellow wire or Black/Red wire, and Red wire (Millenia).
- Red wire and Black wire (MPV).
- Gray wire and Black/Orange wire (Protege).
- Measure resistance with fuel gauge sending unit float in specified position. See FUEL GAUGE SENDING UNIT RESISTANCE table. If resistance is not as specified, replace fuel gauge sending unit.
