Description & Operation
WARNING:
Deactivate air bag system before performing any service operation. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article. DO NOT apply electrical power to any component on steering column without first deactivating air bag system. Air bag may deploy.
Instrument cluster contains a speedometer, tachometer (if equipped), voltmeter, fuel, oil pressure and temperature gauges. See Fig 1 . All models use magnetic gauges to monitor fuel quantity, coolant temperature and oil pressure. When ignition switch is turned to ON position, warning indicators will light momentarily as a bulb check.
