Fuel Gauge
NOTE:
After changing checker resistance value, allow 1 minute for needle to stabilize.
- Remove instrument cluster. Connect battery positive voltage to terminal 2G (Black/Yellow wire) terminal of instrument cluster and ground terminal 2I (Brown/Red wire). SeeFig 1 . Connect Red wire of Checker (49-0839-285) to terminal 2N (Green/Yellow wire) of instrument cluster. Connect checker Black wire to ground.
- Set checker to specified resistance value. See FUEL GAUGE RESISTANCE . If fuel gauge needle does not rest at specified position for each resistance value setting, replace fuel gauge.
