Upper Leading Link Ball Joint (Millenia)

Remove upper leading link. See UPPER LATERAL AND LEADING LINKS under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION . Shake ball joint stud 4-5 times. Secure leading link in vise. Install Preload Attachment (49-0180-510B) to ball joint stud. Measure ball joint preload using spring scale. Preload should be 0.7-4.4 Lbs. (0.3-2.0 kg). Install Preload Attachment (49-0180-510B) to ball joint stud. Measure ball joint preload using spring scale. Preload should be 0.7-8.6 Lbs. (0.3-4.0 kg). If not within specification, replace lateral link.
