Removal & Installation (1998 626)

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Drain engine coolant. Remove fresh air duct. Remove cooling fan. See Fig 1 . Remove cooling fan blade and cooling fan motor. See Fig 2 .
  2. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts and nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Start engine and allow it to reach normal operating temperature. Ensure cooling fan motor operates smoothly.
