Removal & Installation (MX-6 & 626)
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove nuts mounting fuel filter and ignitor to bracket. Move filter and igniter aside. Remove EVAP canister and cruise control actuator. Using flare nut wrench, disconnect brakelines from ABS hydraulic unit. Note locations of brakelines for installation reference.
- Disconnect hydraulic unit electrical connectors. Remove hydraulic unit mounting nuts. Remove hydraulic unit. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten nuts to specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Add fluid and bleed air from system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM .
