Removal & Installation (Protege)

Disconnect negative battery cable. Disable air bag system (if equipped). See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEM article. Remove air bag module. Remove steering wheel. SeeFig 3 . Remove instrument cluster mounting screws. Pull out instrument cluster and disconnect wiring harness connectors. Remove instrument cluster. To install, reverse removal procedure.
