Removal & Installation
- Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel assembly. Remove stabilizer bar-to-crossmember bolts, brackets and bushings. Remove stabilizer bar-to-front lateral link bolt, bushings, washers and spacer. Remove stabilizer bar from vehicle.
- Inspect stabilizer bar and components for damage, cracks and deterioration. To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure bushing is aligned with White line on stabilizer bar. Ensure seam faces front of vehicle.
- Tighten bolts to specification with vehicle resting on ground and suspension unloaded. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table. Tighten front lateral link stabilizer bar nut until .64-.72" (16.2-18.2 mm) of thread is exposed.
