Removal & Installation: Camshaft: Inspection

Using dial indicator, check camshaft end play. Check camshaft journals and bearings for wear. Check camshaft lobes for wear and damage. See CAMSHAFT table under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS. If any measurement is not within specification, replace camshaft, thrust plate and/or cylinder head.
