Section 72 (Removal & Installation - A/T): Automatic: MX-3: Installation

- To install transaxle, reverse removal procedure. Torque converter is correctly seated when distance between engine mating surface of converter housing and face of converter is .54" (14 mm).
- Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Install NEW clips on axle ends before installing axle shafts. Fill transaxle with proper amount of fluid, and check for external leaks.
