929 Removal & Installation: Installation

- To install transmission, reverse removal procedure. Torque converter is correctly seated when distance between engine mating surface of converter housing and edge of converter is at least 1.26" (32 mm).
- Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS TABLE at end of article. Fill transmission with required amount of fluid, and check for external leaks.
