Removal (Rear S-Sensor)

Before proceeding, follow air bag service precautions. See SERVICE PRECAUTIONS . Disable the air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM . Rear S-sensor is located above heater unit in passenger compartment. See Figure. Remove driver and passenger air bag modules. See DRIVER AIR BAG MODULE  and PASSENGER AIR BAG MODULE. Remove dashboard assembly to access sensor. Unbolt sensor from vehicle. Disconnect electrical connectors. Remove sensor from vehicle.
