AIR BAG Warning Light Flashes 4 Times
- Cancel radio anti-theft function. See CANCELING & ACTIVATING RADIO ANTI-THEFT
under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM. Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM

- With Short Circuit Connectors (49-H066-004) connected to diagnostic module connectors, using a DVOM, check for continuity between diagnostic module connector terminals 1J and 2L. See Figure
. If continuity is present, go to next step. If continuity is not present, go to step 6).
- Check for continuity between diagnostic module connector terminals 1L and 2K. See Figure
. If continuity is present, go to next step. If continuity is not present, go to step 6).
- Check for continuity between diagnostic module connector terminals 2L and 2K. See Figure
. If continuity is present, go to next step. If continuity is not present, go to step 6).
- Check for continuity between diagnostic module connector terminal 2L and ground, and terminal 2K and ground. See Figure
. If continuity is present, replace diagnostic module. Perform TESTING - SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK
. If continuity is not present, go to next step.
- Disconnect S-sensor connector. Using a DVOM, check for continuity between S-sensor connector (sensor side) terminals "A" and "B". See Fig 1
. If continuity is present, go to next step. If continuity is not present, replace S-sensor. Perform TESTING - SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK

- Check continuity between S-sensor connector (sensor side) terminals "C" and "D". See Fig 1
. If continuity is present, replace wiring harness. Perform TESTING - SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK
. If continuity is not present, replace S-sensor. Perform TESTING - SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK
