- Access diagnostic module connectors. Ensure diagnostic module connectors are properly connected. If diagnostic module connectors are okay, go to next step. If diagnostic module connectors are not okay, reconnect diagnostic module connector(s). Perform TESTING - SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
- Disconnect diagnostic module connectors. Reconnect negative battery cable. Turn ignition on. Using a DVOM, measure voltage between diagnostic module connector terminal 1A and ground. See Figure . If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, check wiring harness between engine (10-amp) fuse and diagnostic module connector. Replace wiring harness assembly as necessary. Perform TESTING - SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
- Measure voltage between diagnostic module connector terminal 2M and ground. See Figure . If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, check wiring harness between ABS (10-amp) fuse and diagnostic module connector. Replace wiring harness assembly as necessary. Perform TESTING - SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
