AIR BAG Warning Light Remains On

Cancel radio anti-theft function. See CANCELING & ACTIVATING RADIO ANTI-THEFT  under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove driver side panel. Remove lower panel assembly and lap duct. See Figure . Access diagnostic module connectors. Ensure diagnostic module connectors are properly connected. If diagnostic module connectors are okay, replace diagnostic module. If diagnostic module connectors are not okay, reconnect diagnostic module connector(s). Perform TESTING - SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK  .
