Valve Stem Oil Seals

Use Installer Set (49-L012-0A0) to install valve seals. See Fig 1. Adjust installer dimension "L" to seal depth of .965-.972" (24.5-24.7 mm) for intake valves and 1.016-1.023" (25.8-26.0 mm) for exhaust valves. Using hand pressure, install seal until it contacts cylinder head. Lightly oil valve seal lip.
