ABS Warning Light Does Not Illuminate

  1. Check METER fuse (15-amp). Replace as necessary. METER fuse is located in fuse panel, on driver's side. If METER fuse is okay, go to next step.
  2. Check wiring harness between the following:
    • ABS control unit and fail-safe relay.
    • ABS warning light and ABS control unit.
    • ABS warning light and fail-safe relay.

Also check ABS warning light bulb. Repair or replace as necessary. If wiring harnesses and bulb are okay, check ABS warning light. See ABS WARNING LIGHT under COMPONENT TESTING.
