ABS-2 DTC 15 (Wheel Speed Sensor & Wiring Harness)

- Check wheel speed sensor. Replace as necessary. See WHEEL SPEED SENSOR under COMPONENT TESTING. If wheel speed sensor is okay, check wiring harness for open or short to ground between ABS control unit and wheel speed sensor. Repair as necessary.
- If open or short in wiring harness does not exist, erase all DTCs. See ERASING DTC. Recheck for DTCs by driving vehicle from a stop to faster than 6 MPH.
- If DTCs 11-14 are displayed, go to ABS-1. If DTC 15 is displayed, replace ABS control unit. If no other codes are displayed, a temporary poor contact in wiring may have occurred and ABS is now functioning properly.
