Wheel Speed Sensor (Inspection)

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel and tire assembly. Check wheel sensor for looseness and damage. Check clearance between wheel speed sensor and sensor rotor.
  2. Clearance should be .012-.043" (.30-1.10 mm). If clearance is not as specified, replace wheel speed sensor or sensor rotor as necessary.
