Section 64 (Suspension - Rear): Description
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1994 Mazda MX-3. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
Rear suspension consists of MacPherson-type struts, crossmember, stabilizer bar, trailing arm and laterally mounted links. Trailing arm attaches to crossmember, and knuckle and spindle assembly. Lateral links attach to crossmember and knuckle and spindle assembly. Stabilizer bar is mounted to crossmember and lateral link.
Rear lateral link is adjustable. Rear wheel alignment is adjusted by turning lock nuts mounted on rear lateral link assemblies. See Fig 1.
