Oil Pressure Gauge
NOTE:
After changing checker resistance value, allow 2 minutes for needle to stabilize. Allowable limit of needle deflection is twice width of needle.
- Disconnect oil pressure sensor connector. Connect Checker (49-0839-285) Red wire lead to oil pressure sensor connector terminal. Connect checker Black wire lead to ground.
- Set checker to specified resistance value. See OIL PRESSURE GAUGE RESISTANCE . Turn ignition on. If gauge needle does not rest at specified position for each resistance value setting, check wiring. If wiring is okay, replace gauge.
