Trailing Arms: Removal

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel assembly. Remove drive shaft lock nut. Remove brake caliper support mount. Remove brake caliper and hang out of way. Disconnect strut assembly, stabilizer bar control link and lateral link from trailing arm.
  2. Disconnect ABS sensor. Remove rotor and knuckle assembly from trailing arm. Remove control link mounting bolts and control link. For reassembly reference, mark adjusting bolt location. Remove adjusting bolt and cam plate. Remove trailing arm.
